it's been so long even my wii u forgot where i left off - Wii U Backlog Wednesday (Metroid Prime)
0(game starts about 16:30, took some extra time to get set up)
so here it is, metroid prime. mp4 might still be a million years away or something but i also might be a million years or something away from beating the trilogy so i should probably get on that
turns out my save file mysteriously disappeared! so this is actually going to be a complete playthrough
was tricky for me to get into it back when i played it 4 years ago, but splatoon came out since then and i've now had a collective 770+ hours of experience with shooters between the two games
tried to figure out based on memory where i was, and i think i got a little bit past what this faq i found calls "the main boss of the chozo ruins" and according to my activity log i played it for 23 hours. that's like 23 weeks worth of these streams if they're each an hour long oof

i'm pretty new to streaming (only streamed on twitch like, 3 times? and only a few times on here, the past few weeks) and also new to making youtube videos, so feel free to give some constructive criticism. i've been thinking about getting a new mic finally, i'm aware headsets aren't ideal but i already had this one (but now i've had it for like, almost a decade, so it's probably time for something new)
and if you noticed the sock tied to my headphones and were wondering about that it's because there's no padding on the headband so after a year or two of using these i noticed my head hurt and felt a little bump up there, so i tied a wool sock onto it as a temporary solution since i really like these headphones otherwise ("temporary" i say after probably like over 3 months)
