Hello, my friend! Sometimes life can be a little confusing, so let me explain what's happening here... You are TY, one of the last Tasmanian tigers. You were raised by a family of bunyips and have only vague memories of your real parents. You always thought all the other Tasmanian tigers died long ago.
But then the Elder Bunyip found you and told you that your family is alive, but trapped with the Dreaming. But rein in your horses... don't worry... you see, they're not stuck there forever, if you're up for a little adventure!
Look, deep in the Outback, there's this glowing portal, which is a door to the Dreaming. And near the portal are some carvings in the stone where five ancient mystical talismans once stood. All you have to do now is find these five talismans, place them into the carvings, and the portal to the Dreaming will open!
Before you rush off, though, there's one SMALL problem. Well, there's that evil cassowary – Boss Cass – who's also after the talismans. That's right. THAT Boss Cass. The one who locked your family up with the Dreaming and ordered the school administration to remove all meat pies from the snack shops. And if you don't already think he's the worst crook, you should know that he's also locked many of your rabbit-nosed bandicoot friends in cages all over the Outback... something about overdue books from the library... In any case, you'll have to defeat him and his henchmen and retrieve the talismans if you want to open the portal!
But don't worry, you won't be alone! You have a lot of friends who will help you along the way. I, your old buddy Maurie, am also here to help you. Let's get down to business, find the talismans, and save your family!
