I am showing how to evolve tyrogue to hitmontop in pokemon FireRed.

Breed Tyrogue by breeding Hitmonchan or HItmonlee to Ditto, go to four island and admit them both to the day care. Walk or bike for awhile and occasionally talk to the old man in daycare, make sure you have 1 empty party slot to receive egg. Hatch the egg, it took me 12 mins biking to hatch.

2. Nature that doesn't affect ATTACK or DEFENSE (ex. Hardy, Docile, Serious, Jolly, Naive, Quiet, Bashful, Rash, Sassy, Careful, or Quirky).

3. Only kill Pokemon that yield EV other than Attack or Defense.
Ex. Rattata, ponyta, meowth families (speed), Psyduck family (special attack). Until Level 20. (See http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_Pok%C3%A9mon_by_effort_value_yield_(Generation_III-IV) ) for EV yield for gen 3 -4 pokemon

Best Raising Area: Kindle Road (Ponyta, Rapidash, Meowth, Persian, Psyduck, Spearow, Fearow), Pokemon Mansion (Rattata, Raticate)

4. If you follow No. 3, you will end up with 2 more defense stat than attack until the last kill before level 20 (see 0:54)

5. before the final kill, give tyrogue 5 proteins (EV Yield 50 points Attack EVs, 1 protein= 10 attack EVs, 4 EVs = 1 stat), why 5 proteins? We only need 2 stats for attack to equal defense. When we give Vitamins, the stats given would be (current level/100)*Total EV then divide answer by 4. (see 1:20) or you could kill pokemons to have 50 attack EVs.

(19/100)*50= 9.5 EVs/4= 2.375 or 2 stats

6. Tyrogue must have equal ATTACK and DEFENSE stats after it hits level 20. (+1 to attack and defense stats when it levels to 20). (see 3:14- 3:17)
