Philippe Tremblay, director of subscriptions at Ubisoft, says "gamers will get more comfortable with not owning games" and honestly he might be more right than we want to accept.

His statement is causing a massive discussion and a huge backlash for Ubisoft, with their stock value falling into the ground.

But ware we still owning our games or are we only holding a license which can be removed at any time by Steam, Epic Games, Ubisoft, Electronic Arts or others?

In fact we might already not be owning our games and subscription and cloud gaming will make this much worse.
