Ubuntu Desktop 24.10 Installation on VirtualBox 7.1 with Guest Additions | Oracular Oriole
1In this video we are going to see how to install Ubuntu Desktop 24.10 on VirtualBox 7.1 with Guest Additions step by step.
First download the Ubuntu 24.10 desktop iso file from Ubuntu website https://ubuntu.com/download/desktop
Create the Ubuntu 24.10 Virtual Machine in VirtualBox 7.1 and install the OS.
Internet connection is needed for dependent packages. apt command automatically fetch all packages from internet.
After installing the OS execute the below commands.
sudo apt update
sudo apt install -y build-essential linux-headers-$(uname -r)
After executing the commands run Virtual Box Guest Additions CD as shown in this video.
After installing Guest additions check the screen resolution and Shared folders, Shared Clipboard functionality in Ubuntu Desktop 24.10
