UCN - 23/20 while running out of power before 1 AM | [Red Run, no DD Repel]
It's kinda funny how the core mechanic of the survival game is useless and absolutely exploited in this particular scenario.
Before you ask yourselves how this is possible, I need to explain how the game works.
Whenever the ventilation blackout occurs or the power goes out, the screen slowly fades to black and the game forcefully puts the monitor up and down allowing majority of the characters to get in and kill you. Power outage is special because it opens all of the doors and make the UI unresponsive (no mask, no flashlight, no monitor, no tools, etc.), but apparently Scott forgot to remove the vent snare and audio lure when the power gets to 0%.
Knowing this, we can make a perfect roster for our own benefit. We need to use non-lethal, cam-stallable and one-off characters, as well as one death-coinable character.
I chose the Puppet for my DC route because I already have GMB enabled the whole night to effectively drain power; I just need to death-coin them in time, otherwise, they'd kill me when the power goes out. It ultimately doesn't matter what DC route you're going to go after, I just thought that the Puppet might be easier to manage with this whole chaos going on.
T-Pose Chica, Squeaky Voice, Storyteller and Banjo Player are one-offs, you need to block them once and they won't be an issue whatsoever even when you're sitting in the dark like an idiot.
Just set an audio lure on the left side of the ducts for Happy Frog, Mr. Hippo and Pigpatch.
For Withered Chica snare the right vent, she only goes through the right-most path.
To avoid Nightmarionne, just keep the cursor on the specific spot on the left side of the screen, he can't spawn there.
Rockstar Chica, Circus Baby, Nightmare Mangle and Nightmare Bonnie are cam-stallable if you put the camera on the right hall and do not switch to other cameras nor systems. For Rockstar Chica, the wet floor sign should also be on the left side of the office for this to work.
Don't gamble by clicking on Rockstar Foxy's parrot, the risk VS reward benefit isn't really good on higher difficulties. Plus, we want to waste power and not gain it, the other options are pretty much useless.
Everyone else are non-lethal and self-explanatory.
With the roster out of the way, let's talk about DD for a sec. DD is a complete RNG, lol. Even though, she appeared twice during the run, I didn't have any issues due to dumb luck.
She didn't spawn anyone at 1 AM becasue there was no "A NEW CHALLENGER HAS APPEARED!" pop-up and SFX, she has a small chance of not adding anyone, so that is an intended behavior. I don't really know what happened at 2 AM, my best guess she chose a character I already have enabled thus she didn't update my score.
I didn't use a DD repel because I was hoping for her to appear and spawn one of non-lethal characters in her roster such as Lolbit, Minireenas or RXQ (Shadow Bonnie), but alas.
Regarding the main roster, Scrap Baby and Scraptrap are the only ones that can be added next, they only attack once per night so you gotta hope you fend them off very early. Going against these two is definitely possible, but I didn't want any RNG in my run, but feel free to try it yourselves if you want. Other main animatronics would be able to kill you when the power runs out, unless you want to roll a dice with Foxy, Mangle, and Toy Freddy, I guess.
Overall, I'm still extremely glad with the result and I do not think surpassing a score of 5,000 points with no power the whole night is possible without DD spawning one of the three aforementioned secret characters or heavily relying on RNG aspect of the game.
