A desert is a landscape where little precipitation occurs and living conditions for vegetation and animal life are very hostile. Desert is isolation and lack.

For the world creator isolation and lack means minimal number of assets need to be used to create the environment.

Minimal doesn't mean easy but it does mean less time authoring custom content and more time focused on composition and lighting.

I decided that the desert themed environment was perfect to get back into environment design, create something quick and focus on new Sky Atmosphere feature in UE4.
