I apologize for the short videos, but I'll describe in depth down below.

This is a post that I made for the EA UFC 3 Operation Sports Forums, I'll leave you guys a link.

So this game keeps surprising me with all these cool additions and animations that are still being added. Beautiful patch, I honestly have no complaints. (Besides the spear TD needing some kind of tuning, but nothing major imo.) A big thank you to the developers once again.

With that being said, we have some amazing new animations now that can really be used further to introduce some chain wrestling. I have some suggestions that I put together into 4 short videos to show what it would actually look like, but I will type and detail it in depth as well.

I edited these short videos to the best of my ability so I apologize if they don't come out looking that great.

First things first, we now have a takedown struggle animation (driving takedown), that should be used as a new entry to the double leg TD.

Here's how I think it should play out. The first 2 denies are already like this, but I decided to show it anyway to get a complete understanding. Feel free to give any input or suggestions. Also ratings, attributes, and perks should come in to play.

Double Leg TD Denies:

(Current) Pre-denied = Push off

(Current) Early denial = Sprawl

(New) *Concept* Mid denial = Quick struggle and sprawl

(New) *Concept* Late denial = Struggle and sprawl

Successful Double Leg TD to Full Guard: When opponent has full stamina or at 75%.

No denial = Regular double leg TD

(New) *Concept* Mistimed denial = Struggle to double leg takedown

Successful Double Leg TD to Half Guard: When opponent has 70% stamina or 55%.

(New) *Concept* No denial = (Any of the undeniable TD animations to half guard.)

(New) *Concept* Mistimed denial = Quick or long struggle to double leg takedown, depending on ratings, etc. to (any undeniable TD to half guard.)

Double Under TD Counter:

(New) *Concept* Successful counter = Struggle to double under clinch

(New) *Concept* Unsuccessful counter = Struggle then TD follows through

Judo Throw TD Counter:

(New) *Concept* Successful Counter = Struggle to side saddle position

(New) *Concept* Unsuccessful Counter = Struggle then TD follows through

Guillotine or Kimura TD Counter:

(New) *Concept* Successful counter = Struggle to guillotine/kimura

(New) *Concept* Unsuccessful counter = Struggle then TD follows through

Driving Double Leg TD: (New) *Concept*

If the opponent mistimes their denial and are at least at a 50% stamina disadvantage, give us the ability to shoot for a double again (while still in the struggle animation), and land an undeniable TD to half guard before reaching the cage.

If the opponent mistimes their denial but this time has 0-10% stamina, let us shoot the undeniable spear TD's if we decide to shoot again before reaching the cage during the struggle animation.

Give us the ability to power modify the driving TD. So by holding RB/R1, left, right stick towards the opponent or (whichever control scheme fits best), during the struggle, we would speed up the animation to get to the cage faster. Drawbacks? Would cost more stamina and leave you at a big disadvantage if used at the wrong time. Most likely would get sprawled on, and submitted or pounded out. This would have to be used very wisely. For ex: When the opponent has a significant stamina disadvantage.

That's all I could think of that could possibly be replicated in the game. We have all these new animations that could really introduce something special. I love where this game is at right now, but I know the potential these animations have also. If you read this far, thank you I really appreciate it. Please let me know your thoughts and suggestions. EA UFC 3 feels like an MMA game now, we really have come a long way.
