Q: Do I need to bring a finished character, regs and stuff for this?
A: No, a character is provided with a particular starting skill set and gear.

Q: What is my goal in this event?
A: There are several "scores" that are tracked. Last time this event was run, each score grouping got a special reward specific to the category they won at. This time there will simply be trophies for the top 3 in each category EXCEPT for the new category: Damage done to the Boss mobs. The boss mobs (a few at a time) will spawn randomly on the map and will look like GIANT DRAGONS. They will be practically impossible without teamwork (they do respawn). The top 10 who accrue the most damage against these dragons will receive a special reward. Also, those who complete the cure quest will also be given "the Cure" which is a special item (unblessed) that, when carried, makes any weapon you are using silver. Other score categories:
1) Most unique player kills
2) Most zombie kills
3) Highest combined crafting skill (Blacksmithing, Carpentry, Tinkering, AND Bowcraft & Fletching)

Q: How do I use the global chat?
A: Use the comma, e.g. you could say ,hello(enter) and that would say hello to everybody in the event.
Please do not reveal the cure quest in global chat!
ANYBODY WHO ABUSES GLOBAL CHAT MAY BE BOOTED FROM THE EVENT AND POSSIBLY HAVE THEIR ACCOUNT BANNED FOR THE DURATION OF THE EVENT DEPENDING ON THE ABUSE.

Q: Why am I attacking so slow? I can't even kill a single zombie!
A: This event relies on an arcade-like approach to fighting where you actually have to AIM your attacks. All weapons attack super slow by default for this event because you can say !1, !2, !3, etc up to !9 to attack in that direction (as shown in the video). You can swing quite fast this way, but the slower the weapon, the slower you swing. If you try to swing too fast, you simply create extra delay for yourself.

Q: When I swing with those macros, I can't tell which direction I'm swinging b/c my character doesn't change directions
A: Indeed, other players will see your character change directions as you swing but YOU will not. This is a limitation of the Ultima Online client--I COULD make it so you see yourself change directions but it would cause a lot of rubberbanding. You should know which direction you swing by which key you are pressing (and the whiff noises let you know if you are attacking somewhere that there isn't a mob.

Q: Smelting ore doesn't seem to work right for some reason.
A: Ore must be on the ground for you to smelt it in this event.

Q: When I press any key, Razor always executes the same macro.
A: This is a Razor glitch that happens every once in a while. Unfortunately the only solution that I have found is to restart your computer.

Q: What do I do if I spawned on a cliff or in a wall and can't get out?
A: Say "I don't want to live" and you will respawn. YOU MUST INCLUDE THE APOSTROPHE (i.e. "I dont want to live" will NOT work!)

Q: Where do I get gear?
A: Gear spawns on zombies and corpses, with a low chance to spawn magical weapons and armor (NOTE: WEAPONS AND ARMOR MUST BE ID'ed USING Item Identification SKILL FOR YOU TO GET THE BONUS!)

Q: Why do I only spawn with 5 bandages?
A: The zombie apocalypse happened fast and you didn't have time to prepare for it, sorry.

Q: I just keep dying over and over and over.
A: Yes, lots of casualties happen in a zombie apocalypse... BUT eventually you will be somebody who happened to appear in a more defensible position and you will be able to get a foothold and survive (and after getting some gear and possibly friends, zombies will be a much smaller threat)!

Q: How do I make the cure?
A: You have to mix the proper ingredients together in the proper sequence and in the right way. There are white-robed mobs named "____ the Seer" who give you hints that you must remember--pay attention to the step numbers! There is a small chance that those hints also drop on corpses. PLEASE DO NOT REVEAL THE CURE STEPS IN GLOBAL CHAT!

Q: How do I log out and preserve my stuff?
A: You can say "I wish to log out". So long as you don't get hit during that time, your character will be invulnerable at that location and you can rejoin the event through the Survival Event Master.
If you just want to quit the event and don't care about the stuff you are carrying, you can just log out as normal. Your character will wander around without you and will probably be killed. You can rejoin through the event master.
ALSO, any container EXCEPT POUCHES that is found in this event does NOT DECAY (which means you can potentially create a "hidden" stash of your stuff somewhere in T2A so you don't lose it all when you die). Somebody could find your stash, though, so beware!

Q: What can I do about the gank squads running around killing me a lot.
A: Some players decide to hunt other players, and this is allowed. Teaming up is your best bet. Remember, skills aren't lost when you die, so you are always progressing!
