0Ultimate DooM (1995) is the re-release of DooM (1993) with a tiny modification in the first mission of the first episode and an additional fourth episode which gave the game a better ending and a better premise for the events of DooM II. So, except for the first mission of first level, for the first three episodes, you'll get the same gameplay (and hence the same playthrough) as you would get in the original DooM. The continuity of the gameplay breaks after the end of each episode. So the second, third and the fourth episode will have a pistol start. The weapons and ammunition will not be carried over from the previous episodes.
