Unbelievable DayZ Drifting: Conquer the Road in an MRAP #dayz #dayzstandalone#dayzmemes
Hey man, what's up? You know what's funny? When I first started playing DayZ, I thought the MRAP was this incredible vehicle that was going to be my friend for life. I spent hours driving it around, scouting out locations, and just generally enjoying the experience.
But then things started to change. I saw people drifting the MRAP all day long, and it started to feel like the ultimate goal to be able to do it. I would see them driving around, bombing zombies, and just generally being incredibly efficient. It started to get annoying.
And then one day, I saw my friend driving the MRAP drift. It was amazing. I watched him for a while, trying to copy his technique, but it just wasn't happening for me. I mean, I was happy to be able to drive the MRAP, but I didn't feel like it was the be all end all of what it could be.
Fast forward a few weeks, and I see him driving the MRAP again. This time, he's drifting it in the Nightmare Server. I know, I know - it's the server that's filled with insane players who are constantly trying to push the limits. But this time, he's really doing it.
He's really drifting the MRAP, and it's pretty cool to see. But then I realize that it just doesn't feel the same. I miss the days when the MRAP was just a cool vehicle to drive, but not the be all and end all of what it could be.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, sometimes your friend's drifted MRAP just isn't the same as it was when you first started playing DayZ. It might be cool to watch, but it just isn't the ultimate goal anymore. And that's okay. It's all good.
