[Unbox] E3 NOR Flasher (Downgrader Tool) For Fat (or Slim) PS3 Overview
71This video is a quick overview of the E3 Flasher that is compatible with Fat or Slim PS3 that uses the NOR chip. The reason why we may want to use the E3 Flasher is to downgrade a compatible PS3 from any OFW (official firmware) down to 3.55 so we can install any CFW (custom firmware and homebrew).
My fat PS3 model number is the CECHL series. See links in next section for more information.
Note: Since this video was recorded, I have successfully downgraded my Fat PS3 from 4.66 to 3.55, and then installed CFW. I did not need an ESATA station, or an external hard drive to do the modding process.
