I'm disappointed that the spring came off when I unscrew the top part of the torchlight but I think it may be my fault as I put the battery from the top instead of from the bottom.
After soldering the spring back on, the flashlight is ultra bright yet uniform so that you can see through the things that the lights are shining on.
The zoom ability is pretty nice as well...so that you can focus the light to see further in the distance.
Overall, I'm pretty satisfied at that cheap price even with the minor "spring" problem.
