Unboxing & Setting Up The Elgato HD60X
5I decided to upgrade my main capture card from the Elgato HD60S+ to the HD60X.
Since I have a dual PC setup for streaming, the HD60X will serve to capture my main PC and the HD60S+ will serve to capture consoles. On the stream PC I was going back and forth with plugging/unplugging the HDMI Out cables from the consoles and main PC when I wanted to switch to something else mid-stream. The problem is that half of the time, the capture card did not like that, which caused me to trouble-shoot the capture card mid-stream and I just got tired of it. So, instead of the main PC and consoles sharing 1 capture card, they now have their own going into the stream PC.
