Uncompetative critiques MauLer's A Critique of Star Wars: The Force Awakens - Part 1

This is the first in a 27 part series of critiques of MauLer's critique of Star Wars: The Last Jedi and The Force Awakens (based off the videos he had completed at the time), which I unfortunately had to abandon due to spurious copyright strikes from YouTube.
I had planned to respond to all MauLer's critiques of the Sequel Trilogy episodes including Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker when he inevitably got around to covering that. Alas, it is too frustrating to record twelve days worth of critique only to have some parts missing, so as I was doing this to keep me amused during the UK's pandemic lockdowns and they are now over, I am legally allowed to leave my house more than once per day for exercise and am taking advantage of that in the nice weather that we have been having.
However, I did talk about pretty much everything to do with Star Wars during all of this, so comments I have made will either happen to critique things MauLer is about to say on the same topic in the future, or we will find ourselves in complete agreement on certain points but just so everyone knows roughly were I am coming from here are my ratings:

7/10 Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope
6/10 Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith
5/10 Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones
4/10 Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens
3/10 Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace
2/10 Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi
1/10 Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker
