Undead 80s (Edited Live, video DJ)
1Undead 80s is a mix I made a long time ago for a story game called Ribbon Drive by Avery Mcdaldno. I edited this video for it LIVE while streaming on Youtube. I did it just by moving the slider on the video timeline bar in VLC player, scrubbing back and forth in time to the music. I also did not plan any of it or even review the videos beforehand. I threw a bunch of related videos that I thought might look interesting in, mostly just old movie trailers, into a playlist, then used the keyboard shortcut to move to the next video when my current one ran out. Yeah that means I can do this with any music and any footage you choose, or I could bring my own mix and footage. Live edited music videos. Want me to come video DJ a dance party or a live show? No really, I need a job, hire me. I'm also interested in selling this music video here. You know you want it Datarock / M83 / The Knife / Goldfrapp / Shiny Toy Guns / The Rakes / Cut Copy / Does it offend you, yeah / The Killers / The Sounds / Hot Chip. Well maybe you'll have to fight over which one of you gets it, but if some of you are on the same label I guess you can share? I don't care, either way, I'm getting rich over here.

I live streamed this a few days ago on Youtube and that verson is still there, but I had a technical difficulty near the end when VLC player crashed. I did another live video edit for the rest of the mix, starting where i left off. Then I did my best to improve the image and sound and minimize the effect of lag on the music synching with the video. The only edits I made in post were where the music started playing, where the music track ended, and the spot where VLC player froze.
