Undecember has a big mouse cursor problem.
You have to spend a lot of time dodging bosses because boss arenas are very small for the size of the bosses and their big aoes.

And because the cursor is small and you cannot highlight it and since it makes you stop moving if you get touch the ui - something that happens very easily when most of the fight is frantically running away from instant death - this leads to you often not being able to dodge well because you can't see the cursor and stopping to move.

I almost died because at the wrong time I was too close to the ui with my cursor and only just barely managed to dodge like 10% of the Instant Death Ray so I did not die (I only survived because I spent 500k gold on Croco's gear lottery and got boots with 20 lightning res).

This not PSO2 or DMC or even Tera, you only have your mouse for dodging and it is inherently bad for this, randomly, frantically waving around your mouse to put the cursor into a far away safe spot so you dodge the attack and don't stop moving right away should be the exception, not the rule.

I mean, this very boss has a decent aoe indicator for a strong attack and yet the problem is not that but the Instant Death Lightning Wave (which is a garbage spell to use yourself btw).

The main problem with bs bosses like this and probably intended to make people spend more money somehow, is that this is very heavily reliant on RNG gear drops. Unlike armor / physical dmg reduction which is always far more reliable because it's a single stat that gear is guaranteed to increase and which most magic gear increases much more than normal gear, elemental resistances are a whole bunch and it's pure luck whether or not you get any gear worth using at all outside the resistance or even if you get any gear with that resistance AT ALL.

Case in point not just did I have 120% fire res (capped at 75% I think) but even though I have kept ALL gear with elemental res since I know how bosses like this can easily pop up, I only had 9.6% lightning res from all gear I ever found until I did Croco's gear lottery and got lucky getting a legendary with 20 lightning res.
