I saw a Steam friend playing UNDECEMBER and I was like, yo isn't that a mobile title. Seeing him play the game on Steam pretty much confirms that I was as bit wrong but I still asked, went to the store page and downloaded the game. Here's the first 30 minutes of my time with Undecember.

Initial Thoughts:

I have played the game's first 30 minute or so and I can think I can confidently say that we have a decent game here, on a gameplay stand-point. It has almost everything a modern ARPG should have.

UNDECEMBER gives you control over your stats on every level-up. You get a skill system that gives you options on how you want to play your character. Enchantment and slot upgrades for gear, if you've played games like this before, you know the drill about this part of the progression.

Combat has impressive effects and feedback. The attacks could use a bit more weight but I'd take this over just making the enemies flinch and flash no matter what attack or whichever angle the player's attack came from. (Lost Ark, please)

We also have here, a hide helmet option. Very important! :D The graphics are nice but I've seen enough from other games to be impressed by this one.

Is it pay-to-win? It's really hard to win from playing the demo but if the cash shop stays like that on release, where only cosmetics are available, all good then. Unless, of course, they'd let the players sell the cash shop cosmetics for other in-game currency, then we'd have a problem. Tree of Savior style.
