Under Siege is a 1992 American action-thriller film directed by Andrew Davis starring Steven Seagal as an ex-Navy SEAL who must stop a group of mercenaries, led by Tommy Lee Jones, on the U.S. Navy battleship USS Missouri. It is Seagal's most successful film in critical and financial terms, including two Oscar nominations for sound production.
The film also stars Gary Busey, Playboy Playmate Erika Eleniak, Damian Chapa and Raymond Cruz. Much like Die Hard and the new movie Skyscraper starring Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), Under Siege is about an everyday Navy chef who has a secret background as a Navy SEAL, unbeknownst to everyone else!
