--- ABOUT THE MUSIC:
The track was started in September 2018 in Zakopane, and finished in May 2020 in Warsaw.
It was sequenced, produced, mixed and later, mastered using Ardour 5.12 under Linux Mint and later Manjaro Linux.
~80% of the sounds were made with Zyn-Fusion (ZynAddSubFX) inclkuding all drums and cymbals.
~12% are made with Vital beta (thanks, Matt!)
~8% are made with my voice, sometimes using samplv1 plug-in
Using a lot of Calf, LSP, x42 and other FOSS audio plug-ins.
Audio was mastered to ~-14 LUFS, and thanks to that YouTube doesn't turn it down, allowing you to enjoy the full dynamic range of the sound.
--- ABOUT THE VIDEO:
The video was shot using OnePlus 5T in September 2018 in Zakopane, Poland and Tatry mountains.
I've carried the laptop with me the entire hike just to get the intro shot. Thanks to my wife for being a patient camerawoman for that.
All the shots were digitally stabilized with FFmpeg.
The whole video was edited using Olive Video Editor in May 2020.
The video was shot, edited and rendered in 1080p, but it was upscaled to 4K using FFmpeg before uploading. If you choose 4K, it'll look better, but only because YouTube gives it more bandwidth, not because any extra detail. Silly. I know.
