Paper Mario and Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door are two of my favorite Games of all time. Both are quite flawed, in their own way, but manage to remain fun and charming, to the extent I would not hesitate to label them Masterpieces. The same cannot be said for Indie Darling Bug Fables. Despite seeming like a game tailor made to suit my interests, as an evolution of the TTYD Formula focusing on customizable builds and increased difficulty, as well as directly addressing the common complaints about TTYD, Bug Fables managed to consistently disappoint me. I tried to enjoy it, I really did. But unfortunately, you cannot force someone to enjoy a game, and that includes yourself.
