0This game supports simultaneous 2 player, it's not straightforward to start I wouldn't have known if it didn't list 2 player on the back of the case. so I thought I'd show it in case others aren't aware or don't know how to activate it.
when getting to the first menu make your character, then have P2 press select to gain control of the menu, go into the character creator again and you will have a second player.
Some things of note:
-Pressing select gives menu control to either player (outside of dungeons)
-Only P1 can control the camera
-There's an extra option in the dungeon menu that lets you pass items between each other.
-Both gain exp completely separately, exp is only gained by the player who gets the last hit on an enemy.
-Money is not shared either.
-There are uncommon items that can revive a deceased player, if you leave or warp while they are still unconscious they are lost and erased from the game.
