Uniden RD27 X & K Brand Radar Detector Teardown
Having these things is illegal in many places in Canada. I have seen Radar Detectors before but never actually being used by anyone. I don't want to get into any heat so I'm just going to do a teardown on this unit and see what's on the inside!

These days there are much better tools you can use to avoid the police. This isn't the best tool to use. No wonder I found it at a second hand store for three bucks lol.

- Extra Loud Alert Tone
- City / Highway (Countryside) sensitivity switch, to reduce false signals around town.
- Volume Hi/Low
- Dual Conversion Super-Heterodyne
- Unit attaches to sun-visor -- clip missing, so we used a rubber band.
- Powered via a cigarette adaptor (included).
