Unit Guide: Prospector / Ore Collector / Imperial Harvester | Red Alert 3
316Continuing our Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 Beginner's Guide series, we are taking a look at Harvesters! Produced from the Ore Refinery, harvesters are the most precious units you must guard carefully. Victory in RA3 typically means pulling off successful economic harassments without losing your own collectors.
Allied Prospectors are able to expand into an outpost, granting you build radius; Soviet Ore Collectors can activate adaptive armor when endangered, which greatly enhances their bulk; Empire's Ore Collectors toggle to security machine guns that deal anti-infantry damage... Dive in and learn about them all!
Economy protection tips and base building strategies are also included, ranging from walling off refs to glitching through Ore Nodes. Numeric data is also included, covering income rates from damaged harvesters, shrunken harvs, even simultaneous mining via multiple harvesters.
