Continuing our Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 Beginner's Guide series, we are taking a look at Soviet Twinblades: Twinblades are Soviet's Tier 2 anti-ground / transport aircraft. They fire barrages of anti-armor rockets that require reloading (on their own, not from Airfield), as well as anti-infantry machine guns, giving them reliable firepower against all ground targets. They are highly mobile, and are able to perform hit-and-run harassments as well as defensive responses. Twinblades are extremely powerful in numbers, and can overrun an entire base. Additionally, Twin Blade can carry up to 5 infantries or 1 vehicle. Their special ability is to evacuate / drop off their passengers.

For Twinblade's strategy, you can combo them with most Soviet infantries and vehicles. They can harass by carrying Flak Troopers, Tesla Troopers, or Terror Drones; They can wreck base with Hammer Tanks or Apocalypse; They can help you expand using Sputniks; You name it. Twinblades are insanely versatile and provide tons of gimmicky moves. The infamous Twin-Frog combo is the most notable of all - Twinblades & Bullfrogs are THE ULTIMATE DUO.
