Continuing our Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 Beginner's Guide series, we are taking a look at Shinobi of the Empire of Rising Sun: Shinobis are an Imperial Tier 2 Anti-Infantry Infiltrator Infantry. They normally switch between shuriken & blade attacks against enemy infantries, though their shurikens can also heavily damage Terror Drones & shrunken vehicles. Ninja's special ability is to drop a Smoke Bomb, which deters pursuing enemies & forces your opponent to have to manually target Shinobi. Shinobis are mobile and capable of self-defense; adding on the Smoke Bombs, they can easily infiltrate players who aren't paying attention to their refineries. In addition, Shinobis are expected to be used much more often after the bug fixes in Patch 1.12.9

For Shinobi's strategy, you can transport them with a Sudden Transport and have Tank Busters around to break walls. They can also combo with Allied IFV & Cryocopter shrink.
