Unity NavAgent Test 1 / 1000 Zombies vs 1 Paladin

Working on a new Project in Unity 6, probably a RPG game. Right now I´m trying to optimize the navmesh and navagent features for the pathfinding of the character and enemies. Without any Navmeshes I can use more than 1000 Enemies, but then It slows down massive. If you have any ideas how to improve this, please let me know.
