Unlink your bank account from Robinhood app
Unlinking a bank account from your Robinhood app is a simple process that ensures you maintain full control over your connected financial information. Whether you're closing an account, switching banks, or just reorganizing your finances, removing a linked bank account from Robinhood helps keep your profile up to date and secure.
To start, open the Robinhood mobile app on your device and log in to your account using your credentials. Once you're logged in, tap the profile icon located in the bottom-right corner of the screen. This will take you to your account menu. Next, tap the three-line menu icon (also known as the hamburger menu) at the top-left corner of the screen.
From the side menu, select the 'Transfers' option. Within the Transfers section, tap on 'Linked Accounts'—this is where all bank accounts currently connected to your Robinhood account are listed. Locate the specific bank account you want to remove from the list. Tap on it to view details and then select the 'Unlink' option.
You’ll be prompted to confirm your action. Tap 'Unlink' again to finalize the process. Once confirmed, the selected bank account will be removed from your Robinhood account. Note that you won’t be able to make deposits or withdrawals using that bank account unless you link it again in the future.
Keep in mind that if the account you're trying to unlink is your only linked funding source, Robinhood may ask you to add another bank account before allowing you to remove it. You can always manage and add new accounts through the same 'Linked Accounts' section.
