Project is like 80 rank features, beats and what not, but the main event got like average stats. Not as a shot at him it's just there's things you can tell he knows how to rock with and things that you can tell he wanted to see if he could rock with it. When the beats a more steady bouncy like boom bap, his pocket is clean and at minimum he keeps up. When it's more open he struggles a bit and the pocket comes off as awkward or non existent. To counter that tho the beats were a good time and the features were doing the heavy lifting from verses, contrasting and hooks. MIx is clean too so it really helps round it all out. The subject matter is here and tho he delivers it in a simple fashion it will hit for those who can relate. It's a short listen too, so nothing truly outstayed its welcome. It's just enough to get by. In rotation.
