If you were in tune to the hardcore, or metalcore 2000's era then this project will speak to that whole generation inside of you. You cannot tell me she never sat at a merch table for some homies at a stinky local venue. This has all those sounds but lays heavy on the more pop that A Day To Remember got lost in, it just works a bit more because white girls adapt easily to anything and everything, like having pitbulls and living in hoods. The subject matter really stood out to me, the amount of honesty and dare I say accountability shown on this was very real and highlighted the quiet war that haunts them via these social media driven days. I hate the word because it has been ruined by millennials but she showed vulnerability, she showed a bit of cuntyness, and then she has moments where she really lets you know she won't be put in a box. The contradictory behavior hit for me, it's very human as much as people don't like to admit it. No pun intended but the pressure builds up with each song and she shows that as much as she gives in to it, she thrives in it. Shout out to the random breakdowns and her sprinkling in the genres of her liking while still keeping the white girl stinky pop rolling. In rotation.
