Unraid Upgrades & Updates! Better CPU-Faster RAM-Great Performance!
30Hey, fellow tech nerds! In today's video, I completely rebuilt my Unraid server called Quantum-Nas-1 with all-new PC hardware! I went with an Intel i5 13500, 2x32 (64GB) of DDR5 5600Mhz RAM and a Gigabyte Z790 Motherboard. This new system is replacing a Ryzen Threadripper 1950X that had 64GB of 2133Mhz ECC RAM. The performance uplift after the upgrade has been significant! And I am thoroughly impressed with the performance speed up on my Unraid server! Let's just say it was money well spent!
