Unreal Engine 4 Tutorial - FPSRPG Series Chapter 1 Part 1: Persistent Menu
Welcome to the start of a brand new EPIC series. We are going to take all the various systems and mechanics I have made before and some new stuff and connect it altogether to make a first person shooter role playing game such as Destiny or Borderlands.
Chapter 1: Menus
Before we can go ahead and start implementing all the content that we associate with RPGs (quests, inventory, equipment etc.) we need a menu where this stuff will be placed.
Part 1 shows you how to create a 3D persistent menu similar to those seen in games such as Destiny. We are using level streaming to accomplish this simple but effective effect.
