3It appears that Epic Games has pushed a brand new version of its latest video-game engine, Unreal Engine. And although there aren’t any release notes of the improvements that have been made to Unreal Engine 5.1, Xenthorx packaged the Matrix Awakens Megacity Demo for players to download.
Now what’s interesting here is that this demo appears to be running better in UE5.1. Or at least that’s what the following video showcases.
For instance, there aren’t as many stutters when driving as there were in Unreal Engine 5. It’s not perfect as there are still some stutters. However, things are significantly better (even when walking). Again, we don’t know what changes or tweaks Epic made to Version 5.1.
