The impact hammer is fun and brutal and you can see the brutality of hitting someone with the business end of an impact hammer when guts and blood splatter everywhere.
Thor's lightning gun is what you'd expect. Primary fire is an electric current that sticks to the enemy and secondary fire is a charged beam of energy, similar to a railgun shot. The weapon itself seems to be powered by a core not unlike what is seen on the technology in UT3. Overall, this weapon is pretty scary. You don't really need anything else for close or mid range.
