The unsealed grounds is the last area on the surface that Knil explores before ascending to the sky permanently. The unsealed grounds consists of a tiny pit that spirals upward, lined by a series of vacuum vents, and contains the magical unsealing spike by which The Freedoom is held. At the top of the pit is the unsealed temple, which connects to Noraf Woods through a gigantic glade found inside its western entrance. Throughout his journey, Knil returns to this area multiple times to heal The Freedoom as it tries to re-enter its seal and descends the spiral path from the Temple.
