Ladies and gentlemen, I present you the racing game equivalent of Dark Link from Zelda II: The Adventure of Link.

While Unknown/???, the recurring final boss from Shutokou Battle/Tokyo Xtreme Racer franchise has been replaced by a different boss who shares the same name in 3, this one's quite unique even by the game's standards. Instead of being a homage to Akio Asakura from Wangan Midnight, this boss is literally a "ghost copy" of your current car that you're driving. Otherwise, the ghost copy itself has the same setup, same appearance and same performance. Also, to make things more interesting, the boss itself can actually pass through the traffic without crashing into it.
