Yesterday I took my two Untamed fingerlings outdoor. You can see me importing them into the game using the creature scan feature. We also going to take those newborn dinos into some intensive fights against other dinos and see how it goes.

I am really enjoying the game. After enjoying the physical toys, this is definitely the right path to continue to immerse kids with a new type of gameplay that is very much different than what they are used to when playing with physical toys.

The game is designed to be played either using hand gestures with what many users are familiar with or using their whole body to control their dino pet's movement, which is by itself a new way to control a virtual character, one that I haven't seen in an augmented reality game yet.

The game is very entertaining, and I was laughing during my interaction with those adorable dinosaurs. There are indeed ferocious, but once they are outside of the arena, they are the cutest creatures. You can feed them and play with them and watch their funny reactions and listen to their funny noises.

The whole physical toy + AR game experience is a perfect combo in my opinion. AR is used here to further enhance the experience by adding a different immersion dimension that you just don't get with the physical toy.

Happy Giant (the developer of this game) did an amazing job here. The ability to create that binding phase where the physical toy is brought to life in its virtual form can help create a seamless continuum of the physical experience for kids who are emotionally bound with the physical toy. This way that bond can continue and find its place in the toy's virtual replica in within the game. Allowing kids to do more things with the toy that they wouldn't be able to do without this AR medium.
