0Why did it end like this? Let's see..... the whole story starts because of 3 of Hannah's friends: Mike Emily and Jessica. Because of them, they pulled such a bad prank that Hannah and Beth died.
That's why the Butterfly Effect begins:
1. Mike realizes that all this happened because of Emily and that's why he kills her (plus she was bitten by a wendigo).
2. Because Mike shot Emily, Sam remains traumatized (PTSD) and that's why she couldn't concentrate in the lodge, she moved and that's why Mike sacrifices himself for her.
3. In Jessica's case, she will have the most PTSD ever because she was traumatized and injured by the Wendigo, lost her best friend (Emily), and lost her boyfriend. That's why she will never be able to recover.
