I had extraordinary bad lucky when it came to a military weapon spawning. It's not any better than my civvy one though :/

Unturned has building like Rust has, looks like Minecraft, gameplay like DayZ.

It's free and has a single player mode. The single player runs like a server does though so items respawn while you play. Gotta build crates to put stuff in or it'll disappear when you exit - so kinda like Diablo 2.

I heard there is PvE only servers too, I haven;t tried yet though, but at least we'd be able to multipler.

Also it was made by one person, who's just 16 so thats kinda impressive.
