David Yates, the acclaimed director of the Harry Potter films, has brought his latest project to the Toronto International Film Festival. 'Pain Hustlers' is a gritty drama that exposes the dark side of the US healthcare system, where patients are exploited by greedy corporations and corrupt doctors. Yates said he was inspired by the contrast between the US and Britain, where he grew up with the National Health Service. "I wanted to show the human cost of a system that puts profit over people," he said. "It's a very different world from the one I know in the UK, where healthcare is a right, not a privilege."
