Found out that they had opened the steps for the Newport Transporter Bridge so you could go up and walk along the top. I have to be honest I have never been great with heights but I thought I would face my fears and go.

The bridge is one of only a handful of transporter bridges in the world and was opened in 1906. Most people travel across the river Usk on the gondola suspended beneath the frame.

It was an amazing experience.
