After the Video I Swapped the laser with the original one and the one from my parts Sega Cd, Same Result, only read Audio Discs, Everything i've read on the issue says it's most likely 2 chips on the motherboard that have gone bad that are responsible for reading the game discs properly, Might do a video on my attempt to replace those chips so you can witness the horrible soldering ability that i posses. However, with the break in the ribbon cable it could also be that, I feel like it's down to just those 2 possibilities, time will tell.
