Urbex: ABANDONED Reno House
460This abandoned house seems to have been a renovation project that was aborted for unknown reasons. While exploring this abandoned house, It appears the previous owners made syrup from the many maple trees in the yard. The last run of maple syrup, according to the dates on the bottles, was 1996. They then did some canning with the dates of 1997 on the jars. These are the last dates I could find in the house, so I would assume it has been abandoned since. It appears someone had decided to buy the house in hopes of renovating it. There was a survey done on the well in March of 2012, half a year before the production of this video. It appears no work has been done to it in awhile. They may have realized that the cost of the well would be too much, and with all of the woodwork needing to be replaced, it would be too much work and money, likely more than they expected.
