United States Air Force Boeing C-17 Globemaster (88199 McChord AFB, WA) departs the Daytona Beach Int'l Airport (KDAB) as callsign "Thunderbird 14 Heavy" with ATC included. This aircraft was supporting the Thunderbirds fleet during their flyover performance at the NASCAR Daytona 500 race. As they taxied by the pilots gave us a wave before taking off on runway 25R.
