In this ES6 beginners course video from freeCodeCamp's ES6 challenges we continue learning about destructuring. We learn specifically how to use destructuring to create variables of objects passed into a functions. Using destructuring we can specify exactly what keys we want to target within the object as opposed to passing in the whole object into the function. We are able to save space by typing less by destructuring from the functions parameter instead of destructuring within the function body. Understanding destructuring assignment is key to understanding this lesson and if you are having trouble getting it watch the previous lessons in this series.
