In this lesson, we look at exporting a js function. If we have a file with many functions and we want to use some of those functions in another file, we are able to do this by exporting the functions that we want to use. In the past, one would simply copy and paste js code from file to file. After a while of repeating this, one file may become harder to read and more chaotic. By keeping files separate, we could organize our code better and simply export the functions in a file for use in other files. Using the export keyword, we learn a few ways of exporting our javascript functions.
