How to boot your Amiga CD32 into NTSC mode.

Using the hidden boot menu you can access display options which allow you to choose between NTSC and PAL.

The same boot menu also lets you alter various other options, mostly only useful with an expanded CD32.
The same boot menu also exists in all Amiga computers as far as I know.

If your TV supports both PAL and NTSC switching to NTSC will results in a faster refresh rate, meaning many games will run faster. NTSC resolution is slightly lower than PAL so be aware that with some games you may lose the bottom half of the image.

I do not have a TV that doesn't support PAL so I'm not entirely sure how easy it is to view this screen; but I did have a TV that didn't support NTSC and for me I could see a very distorted image, but enough to make out where I could click to make the switch. Hopefully it's possible for you. Or, as I forget to mention: if you also have an Amiga keyboard (you lucky person), you can switch screen modes by pressing a key on the first boot menu.
