This video shows some tricks that are mostly useless, but fun.

1. If you kill yourself using the laser in the first room, the cutscene with Globox plays again, but you can skip it. Skipping it at different times has various effects. If you skip it while the balls of light from the silver lum are circling around Rayman, the balls will stay in the air forever.

2. If you skip the cutscene just before the balls of light appear, you can see them appearing.

3. If you skip the cutscene when the guards disable the laser fence, the fence will stay disabled. It doesn't even damage you! There's still an invisible wall there, though.

4. With some careful jumps, you can get from the sliding section back to the first room.

5. Pressing L while you're invulnerable causes you to become vulnerable immediately. This can be helpful for practicing skipping the third pirate in the Canopy using the cannonball, since it lets you get a game over faster so you can make the ship reappear.

6. Something strange that happened to me while I was practicing the bush skip in the Canopy. A stray shot somehow hit the purple lum from far away, causing me to go back through the door. Another strange thing to note is that the pirate shot passed by Rayman even though there's a wall in the shot's path. Perhaps the wall's collision detection was disabled since it was too far off screen.

7. Something that happens from time to time in the Precipice. When you pick up the fourth lum, sometimes it takes a few seconds for the lum counter to increment. It may be because there's a lot happening on screen.
