1. A route for getting the lums in the first area of the Fairy Glade. Note that if you shoot just before starting an airswim, you can start moving sooner.

2. If you press B repeatedly while the piranha hits you, you won't fall down. You can also use this trick in the room where the barrels are falling on you.

3. Skip using a purple lum in the Bayou by damage boosting across a gap.

If you grab one of the skulls right as it disappears, you will be teleported above the level and can float to the end. For some reason, you teleport much lower on N64 than on PC, so the trick is a little harder. I lure a skull to the side of the starting platform so that it will be closer to the end of the level.

8. Using the same trick, you can get back to the sliding section. If you go into the pit at the end, it will take you back to the beginning of the boss fight.

9. You can also get to the treasure room and walk around. The boss appears, but doesn't do anything. If you activate the cutscene, the boss music will keep playing until you decide whether to take the treasure.

10. Using moonjump, you can get to the island where the bad ending takes place. You might be able to do this without moonjump on PC, since the trick teleports you much higher.

11. Unreal found that you can use a damage boost from a pirate's shot in the Canopy to get over a laser fence. He mentioned that it would be faster to use a damage boost from the ship's cannonballs, but to my knowledge, no one ever managed to do so. In this clip, I show that the trick can indeed be done with a cannonball, which is faster than using the pirate's shots.

12. A somewhat consistent way to get over the laser fence in the Canopy using the pirate's shots (a trick found by Unreal). This is slower than using the cannonballs, but easier, since the pirate's shots are a lot more predictable than the cannonballs. I also show a strategy for getting the lums in the final area.

13. If you skip hiding in the bush in the Canopy, you can still do the trick to skip the Teensy dance by going outside the room and coming back. It's dangerous, though, because if the door closes behind you, you have to repeat the trick with the purple lum to get back in.

14. A more consistent way to skip the Teensy dance after skipping hiding in the bush. The key is that once the door starts opening, it doesn't start closing until it is all the way open. You can exploit this fact by letting the door close, moving away so that it starts to open, then going through it while it's still opening. Manipulating the door in this way is slower than doing the trick without manipulating the door, but it's much safer.

20. If you die after breaking the Teensy's cage in the Echoing Caves, you can skip waiting for the Teensy, saving a few seconds.

21. You can bounce a shot at the first cage in Sanctuary of Rock and Lava to free the purple lum sooner, saving a couple seconds.

22. If you jump and shoot at the wall as you approach the second cage in Sanctuary of Rock and Lava, you can break the cage.

23. Run forward to activate the first lilypad in Walk of Power as soon as possible, then collect a lum while you're waiting for it to move forward. This saves a little time, since you typically have to wait a while for the lilypad.

24. Break a cage in Tomb of the Ancients without fighting a pirate. This saves a few seconds. The key to this strategy is that as long as the pirate doesn't take damage, he won't fire shots as you; he will only use his hook attack, which you can dodge.

25. If you beat Clark while the laser is still active, the laser will stay active after the cutscene, but it won't damage you. I've noticed this before, but I never made a video.
