I don't know what happened but since March/February, Suno ai became infinitely “better”...

I used ChatGPT to create lyrics and then i heavily edited them to make them more coherent, fit HellDivers 2 better trying to implement phrases from the game. Now I am chopping up ai created music, having created a few instances from Suno. I used generic prompts like “cinematic intro with braaams, 808 drums with synth verses, heavy driving djent chorus, djent/metalcore breakdown that sounds pissed off)

I’ve got a few parts of generated music that sounds “decent” and will start splicing different parts together to use as a reference track. After finalizing a reference track, I’m going to recreate it in Ableton. I’ll record, using live guitars (8 string Harley Benton and 6-string PRS Custom 24), keyboards/synths, & drums will be P5 drums from Get Good, etc...

I love/hate ai; but I am actually pretty stoked about this project. It’s still terrifying how well ai has gotten recently when it comes to writing music.
